Deleting Mailboxes


If you want to physically delete a mailbox, this means completely removing all of its data from the database. To do this, select a mailbox from the mailbox table and press the "Delete" button in the dialog that appears. After a confirmation dialog, you can then delete it.

This process respects the data integrity of the database, i.e. if this mailbox has already created tickets and tickets have already been addressed, it can no longer be physically deleted. For this reason, you can usually only delete a newly created mailbox.

To delete a mailbox that was already activated and used in todo4teams, you can logically delete the mailbox. To do this, open the mailbox detail dialog to change a mailbox as described in the previous section and deselect the "Active" checkbox in its properties.
